The West Fork Foss River Trail reaches deep into the highest concentration of lakes in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. Among the many destinations are Trout Lake, Copper Lake, Lake Malachite, Little Heart Lake and Big Heart Lake. Hikers will enjoy varied terrain, several waterfalls, diverse forests and great camping along this venerable trail corridor.
